Ski Race Club Alta Badia

Ski Race Club Alta Badia is an historical Italian ski race club located in Alta Badia, in the heart of the Dolomites. The Dolomite mountains are included in the UNESCO world's protected natural paradises and are among the most beautiful mountains in the world. Founded in 1946, Sci Club Ladinia ranks among the best in Italy: over the years its athletes won countless national, international and WC competitions, feeding numerous athletes to the national ski team, in Alpine skiing, Cross country skiing and snowboard. For the last 30 years, Sci Club Ladinia has been organizing one of the “Classics” in the Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup: the “Gran Risa” Giant Slalom and the night Parallel Giant. This program is part of DC4SKI, a project supported by the European Commission ERASMUS-Sport.

Our Coaches

Massimo Longhi  is our U19 Head Coach. He is a Alpine ski instructor and Coach since 1998. As U19 Head Coach, he lead our racers win over a dozen National titles and well as silver medal at the EYOF.

Thomas Valentini is our technical Director and U14 Head Coach. He previously served as Coach and Athletic Director of the Men's National Ski Team. He is a federal instructor and member of the Federal Ski Academy.

Sicio Costamoling is our U16 Head Coach. A former racer, he coached in Bariloche, Argentina, before coming back to Val Badia. under his guidance our athletes worn half a dozen National titles.

Rene Crazzolara is a ski coach and APSI trainer examiner. In "our" summer he coaches the Mountain Academy Multi-discipline Squad in Thredbo, Australia.

Stefan Thaler is the President of the Ski Club. A former member of the National Ski team and Italian Alpine Ski National Champion, he is a Federal ski instructor, and Vice President of the Ski World Cup.

Martina Sverzellati is a Ski instructor and Ski Coach. She attended the Sports Accademy Oberschulzentrum in Mals and she is now pursuing her BA at the University of Bolzano / Bozen

Denise Karbon will visit our Camps to guest coach. Denise

is a  4-times Olympic racer. She won the GS World Cup in 2008, as was #2 in 2004. She also  won bronze and silver medals at the World Championships. She is now a coach and federal instructor.
